Dayton is America's first Certified Welcoming city

Certified Welcoming City

The Dayton City Commission announced at its September 13 meeting that Dayton is the first Certified Welcoming city in the United States. Certified Welcoming is a formal designation for cities and counties that have taken action on their commitment to immigrant inclusion and have met the high bar of a Welcoming Standard as determined through a rigorous independent audit.
