Hotline Numbers 

The Dayton Police Department Vice Unit has now established a hotline that individuals may use to report suspected prostitution activity.  The Vice detectives will act on the information accordingly, and it may lead to a letter being sent to the registered owner of a vehicle used by a suspected john or other action.

In addition, the drug hotline can now accept complaints in Spanish.

To achieve the best impact, callers should leave as much information as possible concerning any observed suspected illegal activities. Information should include vehicle descriptions (make, model, color, license number) and suspect descriptions (height, weight, hair color and length, race, identifying marks/tattoos). In addition, key information should include the location and time of day of the suspected activity.

Neither hotline should take the place of calling the Dispatch Center at
333-COPS (2677) for crimes in progress.
