Bagged Leaf Collection Begins the Week of October 27
The City of Dayton’s bagged leaf collection service returns the week of October 27. The bagged leaf collection process offers four pick ups, with each occurring on residents’ normal recycling collection day to make it easier to remember. Leaves must be bagged in biodegradable paper bags and placed at the curb. Leaves raked loosely to the street will not be collected. Bagged leaves must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled leaf collection day. City of Dayton residents were recently mailed an informational flier that outlines the bagged leaf collection process, provides leaf pick up schedules, and includes a coupon for 10 FREE biodegradable leaf collection bags. Residents can also get more information about their leaf, waste and recycling collection dates by visiting www.daytonohio.gov/leafcollection, clicking on the interactive map, and typing in their home address.
