Dayton's zoning map has been updated in conjunction with the rewriting of the Zoning Codeeffective August 1, 2006 and last amended on December 18, 2013. This map is a representation of the Official Zoning Map for the use of the City of Dayton's customers and citizens. The map illustrates the various zoning district boundaries and overlay districts within the corporate limits of the city. The map was revised last on January 3, 2014.

The grids below represents the approximate areas covered by each map. The legend and descriptions of each district can be found on grid 1.  Please click on the grid number below that you would like to view:

Zoning Map

The following information is currently available for your review:

City of Dayton Zoning Code (5.1 MB): This is the City's Zoning Ordinance. This document regulates how land can be used in the City of Dayton and explains development standards that businesses must follow.

Appendix A Schedule of Thoroughfares and Setbacks from the Centerline (85 KB): This document is an appendix to the Zoning Map and the right-of-way widths from the centerline for City of Dayton streets.

City of Dayton Subdivision Regulations (360 KB): These regulations explain the requirements and the process for dividing lots as well as combining multiple lots into a single lot.

Planned Development Districts (60 KB): This document lists the Planned Unit Developments in the City of Dayton.

Urban Renewal Areas (421 KB): This document lists the Urban Renewal Areas in the City of Dayton.

HD-2 Landmark Buildings (12 KB): This document lists the HD-2 Landmark Buildings in the City of Dayton.
