The City of Dayton sweeps more than 12,000 miles of streets from February through October, and mows vacant lands throughout the city, generally from May through October. Both schedules may be affected by weather.
Vacant lands are mowed by City crews spring through fall.
The following neighborhoods will be swept or mowed the week of July 25, 2016, weather permitting:
Residential streets are swept twice annually, thoroughfares are swept six times annually, expressways are swept three times annually and the Central Business District is swept each weeknight.
