Sweeping & Mowing

The City of Dayton sweeps more than 5,600 miles of streets, from February through October. Residential streets, thoroughfares, and expressways are swept four times annually. The City mows vacant lands throughout the city five times yearly, generally from April through October.

Following is the street sweeping and lot mowing schedule for the week of October 16, 2023, weather permitting.

This concludes our mowing of vacant properties for the 2023 season. Street sweeping will follow the Leaf Collection Schedule for the remainder of the year.
