The Department of Recreation offers a variety of facilities at very reasonable prices to host your next special event, birthday party, business meeting, wedding reception, athletic practice and more. Check the descriptions below to determine which site will best suit your needs.

Dayton Convention Center

The perfect choice! Whether your event is for two people or 6,000, our convention center has the capacity and experience to meet your budgetary and space needs. We have 22 meeting rooms, equipped with high–speed internet and Wi–Fi, independent sound systems and teleconferencing capabilities. Greater Dayton Recreation Center at Roosevelt Commons

One of the GREATEST places in the city of Dayton! GDRC is prepared to satisfy your special event needs. Ever wanted a birthday pool party in the winter? Now you can! The Family Aquatics Center, located in GDRC, includes a 55–foot slide and spray features. This facility also includes a gymnasium and multi–purpose room, complete with a kitchen. Learn More

Kettering Field Complex

Diamonds are not just a girl’s best friend... we have diamonds for everyone! Host your company’s next tournament at one of 15 industry–standard–sized baseball or softball diamonds. When you book a tournament on the main complex, we’ll throw in concessions for you for free! Book one, or book them all, doesn’t matter, just play ball! Learn More

Lohrey Recreation Center

This neighborhood rec center is the ideal place for a variety of activities. Options include classrooms for small events or gatherings; large multi–purpose room with commercial kitchen, and a gymnasium for your team practice space. We also host birthday pool parties! Northwest Recreation Center

Community meetings, banquet dinners, and small productions are all an option at Northwest Recreation Center. This facility’s amenities includes two gymnasium, classrooms, and a multi–purpose room with a stage and kitchen. Dabney Pool, located inside NWC is a GREAT choice for a birthday pool party! This pool is zero–depth to 12.5 feet, has two diving boards, and is wheelchair accessible. Learn More
