The Civil Service Board, at their March 25, 2021 meeting, will review and consider the adoption of amendments to the following Civil Service Rules and Regulations. Rule 8 – Eligible Lists and Certifications and Rule 9 – Appointments.
This meeting is being held in accordance with changes to both state and local laws regarding public meetings during a state of emergency. In response to COVID-19 and in the interest of public health and welfare, Governor DeWine signed an emergency declaration on March 9, 2020, and the City of Dayton followed with an emergency proclamation on March 12, 2020. On March 25, 2020, the Ohio legislature passed Amended Sub House Bill 197, which in Section 12(B) allows for public meetings and hearings to be conducted by electronic means.
If you have any comments regarding these proposed changes, please submit them by email to Sheila.Crum@daytonohio.gov. Comments must be received by March 12, 2021, 5:00 p.m. Communications received after that time will be included in Comments for the next meeting.
Submitted comments must follow meeting guidelines and must not contain threatening statements or vulgar language. Any improper comment may result in the comment being determined as out of order. Additionally, comments should not be longer than three pages in length.
