A DPD squadron vehicle has temporarily switched gears, allowing officers to hand out sweet treats through the end of Summer 2016.

The East Patrol Operation Division's ice cream truck is another way officers can interact with youth in the community. EPOD officers will take the ice cream truck "on patrol" and show up at community events at least once a week through October 31, 2016. The truck carries simple ice cream cups donated by local stores.
