2. About Tax Preparation Volunteering

   Every tax season, the City of Dayton works with regional partners to coordinate free, volunteer-staffed tax sites where residents can come and have their taxes prepared. Volunteers also help participants claim valuable tax credits, increasing their tax returns. Volunteers are trained through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program before staffing a tax prep site. If you're interested in helping your Dayton neighbors prepare their taxes and claim everything they're eligible for, fill out the form below.
