Purpose

The Appointees are charged to carry out all of the responsibilities of the Board of Directors of the Dayton-Montgomery County Port Authority in accordance with ORC Section 4528 et. seq. of the Revised Code and the Port Authority Agreement

Appointment

Mayor with advice and consent of the County.

Makeup

The Mayor of the City of Dayton, with the advice and consent of the City Commission nominates 4. The County nominates 5 (City and County must exchange and approve their respective board appointments) (after initial staggered partial terms-each newly appointed member shall serve a term of 4 years.)
